Loretta Rosenmayer Named EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® in the Energy, Cleantech and Natural Resources Category
Loretta Rosenmayer, Chairwoman of the Board for INTREN, has received one of the industry’s highest honors, EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® award in the Energy, Cleantech and Natural Resources category. The award was presented November 18th at the Entrepreneur of the Year® US national gala held in Palm Springs, California.
The EY organization celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognizing them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries.
Winners were selected by a panel of independent judges who considered revenue, profit and employment growth. Judges also considered the entrepreneurs’ overall achievements, their approach to innovation and future growth, their commitments to building strong teams and sustainable businesses, as well as their efforts to give back.

As a woman in a male-dominated industry, Rosenmayer is recognized as an early supporter of diversity initiatives. In 1993, she certified her company with Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, aligning her company with the utilities’ goals for diversity and inclusion of minority and woman-owned businesses in the construction industry.
